The Center for Strategic Studies to Support Women & Children participated in the Conference on Enhancing the Participation of Women in the Peace Process and beyond in Yemen
The Center for Strategic Studies to Support Women & Children participated in the Conference on Enhancing the Participation of Women in the Peace Process and beyond in Yemen - Egypt - Cairo - 9-11 April 2019, which was organized by the Crisis Management Initiative, Deep Root for long-term consultations, and with the support of the European Union.
And which lasted for three days and with the participation of a large number of Yemeni women at home and abroad, representing the various spectrums and components. The Conference opened with a welcoming speech for the Crisis Management Organization, the Deep-Root Initiative speech, and then the European Union's speech by the Head of the European Union Mission to Yemen, Mrs. Antonia Biorta.
After much discussion and review of the experiences of some conflict countries and working groups, a number of important recommendations were made in the peace process, to develop and implement them with the relevant authorities "Office of the UN Envoy - the parties to the conflict - the international community"
