Who we are
The Center of Strategic Studies to Support Women and Children - Yemen, it's non-profit centre target women and children in particular and the community in general, it is enjoying a logical and independent characteristic. It established on 20/12/2018 according to License from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. (80/M) and its headquarter in Taiz governorate. It leads by a group of specialists and interested in community development through prevention programs, protection, participation, sustainable development for woman and children. And they are working in the field of psychologically, Rights, Legal, and political support and provides the support to the affected categories from war and violence in scientifically and participatory methodology with the individuals and society and conducting the studies and the researches which serve the goals of the center.
Message
Support women and children through reinforcement the values of participation, protection, security, and Community peace, according to a vision, strategy, and systematized work by specialized experiences and competencies for the prevention from the effects of violence and violations to achieve the sustainable peace.
Vision
To be at the forefront of specialized canters and organizations in providing qualitative support for women and children.
General Goal
Protect women and children from violence and violations and enable them from their rights according to the legislation, national laws, conventions, and international agreements.
Sub Goal
Raise the level of abilities of the providers of the psychological and social care in the methods of modern psychological support
Working on supporting care and protection places for battered women
Qualify specialized teams in monitoring, documentation and the mechanism of reporting about the violations of human rights.
Work on the procedure of the researches and studies which related to the reality of women, children, and youth, and putting the necessary practical strategies to protect and participate them in doing sustainable development.
Doing the lobbying and advocating campaigns for family and children protection law.
Raise the level of awareness at the community in the rights of women and children and supply a safe environment for them
